The GREGOR CRE is organized and supervised by the Optical Solar Physics Group and the E-Science Group at the Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam (AIP). The aim is to make the data of the GREGOR telescope optimally usable and accessible.

Usage Policy for the GREGOR CRE

• The GREGOR CRE is available exclusively for scientific work.
• The GREGOR CRE is available exclusively for active cooperation within the GREGOR cooperation.
• The use of the GREGOR CRE for private purposes is not permitted.
• The use of the GREGOR CRE for commercial purposes is not permitted.
• The use of the GREGOR CRE for illegal purposes is not permitted.

Violations of these conditions will result in immediate suspension of your account.

Data Storage Guidelines for the GREGOR CRE

• Although the administrators strive to ensure unhindered access to GREGOR CRE, no guarantee is given that data will not be accidentally deleted or overwritten or lost due to a technical error.
• Neither AIP, the AIP Optical Solar Physics Group nor the GREGOR CRE administrators are responsible for data loss or the content or integrity of data stored on GREGOR CRE.
• It is not guaranteed that the login is available at all times.
• If an account is to be locked, the user receives a notification from the administrators. The user is granted a limited period of time during which he must copy all important data. The data is then usually deleted.
• In exceptional cases, the data may be retained. Such a decision is at the discretion of the administrators.
